The Story of Snow: The Science Of Winter’s Wonder is an awesome book that tells you everything you didn’t realize you wanted to know about snow! Snowflakes are so magical and the science behind them makes them even more incredible. I learned some fun facts reading this to my kids. Written by Mark Cassino with Jon Nelson, Ph.D., they do a great job of making the science of snow interesting. It’s a bit lengthy for young readers, but I think you could read a little at a time and they could really enjoy it. The book has illustrations by Nora Aoyagi and the photography is stunning! I bought this book from Scholastic on a whim and I am glad I did. It instantly joined our rotation of seasonal books.
