Everyone worries. Sometimes those worries won’t go away. That is exactly what happens in Jack’s Worry by Sam Zuppardi. Jack is worried about performing in a concert. His worry starts off small, but it keeps growing no matter what Jack tries. Soon, Jack’s worry is so big that he is completely overwhelmed by it. Luckily, he figures out what to do just in time. This book does an amazing job of bringing a worry to life and showing how we can handle those worries. Emotions can be big and overwhelming. I love it when a book explains those emotions in a way that makes them easier for a child to understand.
